Bio
Joan has been a weaver for most of her adult life before turning to production felting. In the last ten years, her dyeing of wool and silk has led to their use these materials in felted garments. Recently she has been using sari silks to create interesting textures as well as print-like looking surfaces. She teaches and exhibits locally and at international conferences to help spread the joy and celebration of fiber hand craft.
